Eresma Sauvignon 2009 from Bodega La Soterraña has been awarded with the Silver Medal in the Mezquita de Cordoba Awards 2010, sponsored by the Ministry of the Environment and Agriculture of the Autonomous Government of Andalucía.

The taster board consists of professionals of local and international recognized prestige. Eresma Sauvignon 2009 has been awarded with the Gold Medal at the last edition of the prestigious international wine competition Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. This prize joines in the wide list of achievements of this excellent Sauvignon Blanc from the D.O. Rueda.  

Tasting Notes: The wine has an intense straw yellow colour with golden hues. The nose presents aromas of tropical fruits such as mango and pineapple along with hints of citrus. The palate is ample and fresh with intense acidity and an aftertaste characteristic of the Sauvignon Blanc variety.

Since its creation in 1994, the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles has set itself up as the “wine world-championship” with almost 7000 participating products from the four continents. As a whole, these samples represent more than 500 million marketed bottles.
